New life

Kyra had a sleepover a couple of nights ago and the girls wanted to paint t-shirts. So I bought a couple of cheap white shirts for them to decorate. What I didn't know was that her friend had a silk screen kit! They made me this totally awesome shirt! The craziest part is that I didn't have to do anything! No supervision at all. My baby is so grown up. *tear.

I only have one regret and that is, the shirt I gave them to print on is pretty old and a little tired. I should have given them a new shirt so I could love it longer.
And next we have a hole :(
I thought about patching it with fabric flowers or something but it was just in a weird place (on the back of my arm between my elbow and shoulder) so I chopped off the arms instead.
Before, in all it's loveliness.

After. (still lovely but I do miss the 3/4 sleeves) Still love the shirt though. I'm pretty sure it's the only yellow I own. Sad huh? I love yellow. BUT, now I can wear it again and make some earings to match! :)

More dangles and stuff.

I couldn't find earing hooks in this copper color SOOoOOoo I made my own hooks with this pair above and the pair below. Yay!My first bracelet... well, out of wire.

An awesome sneak peak of what's coming next! So excited!

Our new project!

I'm in love with this duffle bag! I hope I actually end up finishing this project...or even starting it. This clutch is pretty cute as well.

A Simple Flower Headband

I love these flowers! I've been busy making them in many colors to add to clips and headbands. Very simple and so cute. I think I'll probably clip off the two yarn strands hanging down though.

A different kind of hooker ;)

Introducing my new obsession. Jewelry making! **mostly earrings**My collection is rapidly growing because of how addicting this little hobby is! The only problem is that I don't ever have a wide enough assortment of beads. Otherwise, there would be SoooOOoo many more to show off. I have great plans for the future though. :)
I love square beads! They are so fun.
These are the first pair I made. *tender

These pink beauties took me at least 3 hours to finish. (which is nothing if your a hooker)

SQUARES AGAIN! :)

These, I can't decide if I like...kind of not. I think it's the silver heart. I dunno. plus there is a loop at the bottom still. I think I was planning on adding more beads. Hmmm. I may end up taking them apart. Tell me if you think they are awful.
I wear these a lot. They are probably my favorite.
You know you want to jump on this! It's so great.

UFO's Finished!

Ky has just started learning to crochet and use a loom. She hasn't crocheted more than a string of sc's, but the loom is so easy that I thought she could handle it. She did great the first couple of days and like any other person, got sick of looking at the same colors and wanted a new project. After a few weeks I helped her finish her hat only because I wanted my loom back. Next time she will start and finish her project without a bail out. :) I thought it turned out pretty cute. Del makes a great little model. And did I mention I love pom pom's? Time long ago I started to attempt a lovely purple scarf. It would be the first one ever to make and like the story above I got tired of my project and it was put away and I moved on to other projects. Well a few days ago I was going through a few boxes in my garage and guess what I found! Yep. Lovely purple scarf unfinished. Amazingly, I had stuck the hook I used in the skane of yarn so I didn't have to figure out which size of hook I used! WOOT! So, last night as boy and I watched The Pretender (remember that show? I love hulu) I finished my lovely purple scarf and I have to say that I really like this skinny scarf.
