These owls are so fun. I made this blue one for Ollie and the purple one for Kyra. I'm working on a green one for Aaron right now and Delia wants a pink one. She is obsessed with pink. Then there is Gabe, who wants a mouse. nice. Anyway, I like the beak on the blue one better and ended up taking off the beak from the purple one. It remains beak-less for the moment, but I took a picture of my sweet slumber baby in it anyway. 
The diaper project took a bit longer than expected but I am giddy about the results. I probably would have waited for his arrival to make sure these will fit him but honestly, I can't imagine doing all this work while taking care of the little monkey. I still need to put together some soaker pads but that shouldn't take long at all. My assembly line...at one point. It wasn't all that nice the whole time of course.
My stash! :) The are 19 diapers here. Yes 19. Why not 20? I ran out of the white flannel. I have purchased some more but I've decided this will do. I'll have to make bigger ones later. Hopefully months later!
